Taras was mobilised on 21 February 2023 and has been defending Ukraine ever since. The resident of Drohobych performed combat missions to defend Ukraine as part of the 10th Brigade of the 8th Separate Mountain Assault Battalion of the 3rd Assault Company, A3029, as a UAV operator.<\/p>\n
The warrior died on 26 September 2024, as a result of an explosive object being dropped from an enemy UAV in the Bakhmut sector of the frontline.<\/p>\n
The deceased Hero is survived by his parents, wife, two sons and a brother.<\/p>\n
The funeral convoy with the body of the defender is expected to arrive on Monday, 30 September. The meeting at the Heroes’ crossroads will take place at 14:00.<\/p>\n
From the intersection, the funeral procession will head to the chapel of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Volodymyr Velykyi Street. A parastas will be held there at 19:00.<\/p>\n
The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, 1 October. The time will be announced later.<\/p>\n
