Lviv City Hall calls on residents and visitors to join the city&#8217;s farewell ceremony and refrain from entertainment and celebrations during this time.<\/p>\n<p>The funeral ceremony for Sergiy Granovsky and Andriy Karpliuk will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Garrison Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul. He graduated from the Geography Department of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.<\/p>\n<p>After graduation, he worked as the editor-in-chief of the Nedvizhimost newspaper and was also engaged in private entrepreneurship in the furniture manufacturing industry. In his spare time, he was fond of football, mountain hiking and had a wide circle of friends.<\/p>\n<p>From the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he voluntarily joined the 710th Separate Security Brigade of the State Special Transport Service of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine to defend the state. A resident of Lviv.<\/p>\n<p>He studied at a local secondary school.<\/p>\n<p>For a certain period of time, he worked in the construction industry. According to his family, he was an extremely &#8220;hardworking, kind and honest man&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he stood up to defend the state from Russian invaders. He performed combat missions to protect the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of the state in the ranks of the 28th separate mechanised brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign of the operational command &#8220;South&#8221; of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
