In Lviv, an 11-year-old girl climbed onto a train carriage and received burns as a result of an electric shock. She is currently in hospital, and the police are investigating the incident.<\/p>\n
On 20 October, at 18.40, the police received a report that a child had fallen from a train carriage and was injured.<\/p>\n
An investigative team and other officers of the Police Department No. 2 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 were working at the scene.<\/p>\n
As law enforcement officers established, the underage Lviv resident and her friend went to the railway to take a selfie. When the girl climbed onto the carriage, she received an electric shock, fainted and fell to the ground. Her friend called her mother, who called an ambulance.<\/p>\n
The child was diagnosed with a 2-3 degree electric shock and taken to hospital. Her life and health are currently in no danger.<\/p>\n
Law enforcement officers in Lviv region once again warn that railway stations are not a place for play. Under no circumstances should you try to climb onto wagons or locomotives. Remember, the high-voltage contact network is under high voltage and such actions usually result in electric shocks, sometimes fatal. In addition, children who try to climb onto the roof of wagons often fall off and get injured or killed when they are hit by railway rolling stock.<\/p>\n
