In 9 months of 2024, 281 accidents involving motorcyclists occurred in the Lviv region. In these accidents, 322 people were injured and 27 people, unfortunately, died.<\/h2>\n

This was reported to the Holos Sokalshchyny by the Patrol Police of Lviv Oblast.<\/p>\n

Here are some tips for safe riding on a two-wheeler:<\/p>\n

📌 Before setting off, check the technical condition of the vehicle for the serviceability of the brakes, sound and light alarms;
\n📌 The driver and passenger must wear motorcycle helmets;
\n📌 The driver must take into account the road conditions, as well as the characteristics of the cargo being transported and the condition of the vehicle, in order to be able to constantly monitor its movement and drive it safely;
\n📌 driving a motorcycle, moped (scooter) is allowed from the age of 16, having a driver’s licence and other necessary documents;
\n📌 during the manoeuvre, you must use rear-view mirrors and visually check the “blind spot”;
\nWe recommend that you have a first aid kit and an emergency stop sign;
\n📌 do not overtake other drivers on the right side;
\n📌 do not drive on the dividing lane in traffic jams;
\n📌 do not drive while intoxicated.<\/p>\n

Car drivers, remember that you are not alone on the road – look in the mirrors more often and let your manoeuvres be predictable.<\/p>\n

Remember, a motorcycle gives you freedom, but only following the rules ensures safety!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
