It was established that officials of the forestry and hunting enterprise failed to take measures to ensure forest protection. This led to the illegal felling of trees of various species on the territory of one of the district’s forestries.<\/p>\n
The illegal felling was carried out in the natural reserve fund of Ukraine – the local reserve “Velykyi Lis”, which is under special state protection.<\/p>\n
As a result, the state suffered almost UAH 800 thousand in losses.<\/p>\n
These violations gave rise to a lawsuit filed by prosecutors of the Chervonohrad District Prosecutor’s Office. The court of appeal satisfied the claims in full.<\/p>\n
