As law enforcement officers have preliminarily established, a car Opel Vectra driven by a 30-year-old local resident collided with a motorcycle Geon Dakar driven by a 17-year-old resident of Sheptytskyi district.<\/p>\n
As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist was injured and hospitalised in the intensive care unit.<\/p>\n
Investigators of the Police Department No. 1 of the Chervonohrad District Police Department opened criminal proceedings over the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of the rules of road safety) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The article provides for imprisonment for up to three years with or without deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.<\/p>\n
