The incident took place on 6 August at around seven o’clock in the morning in an apartment in a house on Ivasyuk Street in Sheptytskyi. As established by criminal police operatives together with investigators of the Chervonohrad District Police Department, a 43-year-old local resident was visiting his 71-year-old acquaintance.<\/p>\n
The men were drinking alcohol when a conflict arose between them, during which the host stabbed his guest about twenty times in different parts of the body, causing fatal injuries.<\/p>\n
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings initiated under the procedural supervision of the Chervonohrad District Prosecutor’s Office under Part 1 of Article 115 (Murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been completed. The indictment was sent to the court for consideration.<\/p>\n
