As a result of the accident, the driver of the two-wheeler was injured and hospitalised in intensive care.<\/p>\n
Investigators of the Police Department No. 3 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 opened criminal proceedings over the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of the rules of road safety) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the sanction of the article is restraint of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.<\/p>\n
