Petro Kobrynovych was born on 5 December 1987, he lived in Drohobych on Symonenko Street. He studied at school No. 8, then at vocational school No. 15. After graduation, he was engaged in repair work and travelled abroad.<\/p>\n
During a full-scale enemy invasion, the Drohobych resident voluntarily volunteered to defend Ukraine, went to the military commissariat, where he was initially refused, but on 13 September 2022, Petro joined the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
The resident of Drohobych took part in the defence of Ukraine from the enemy at the frontline, and went through hot spots of clashes with the enemy. He was a gunner of the 3rd Ranger Division of the 1st Ranger Platoon, 1st Ranger Company, 1st Ranger Battalion, military unit A4056.<\/p>\n
From 27 March 2024, Petro Kobrynovych was reported missing. Only eight months later, after an examination, it was possible to confirm the identity of the fallen soldier – the defender died near the village of Semenivka, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region.<\/p>\n
The deceased soldier was survived by his mother, grandmother and fianc\u00e9e, whom the defender planned to marry during his leave.<\/p>\n
The funeral convoy with the body of the fallen defender will arrive on Friday, 22 November. The meeting at the Heroiv crossroads will take place at 12:00.<\/p>\n
At 12:30, a citywide farewell will be held on Rynok Square.<\/p>\n
At 13:00, the funeral service will begin at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. The fallen Hero will be buried on the Walk of Fame.<\/p>\n
