The ranks of the Heavenly Legion have been joined by a brave and courageous Defender, 21-year-old Hero Oleksandr Ivanchuk. From the beginning of the full-scale war, Oleksandr volunteered to go to the front – his younger brother, grandmother and aunt were waiting for him at home.<\/p>\n
The sad news was announced today by the Chervonohrad City Council.<\/p>\n
A soldier, machine gunner of the rifle platoon of the military unit A4722, Oleksandr Ivanchuk was killed on 18 November while performing a combat mission near Kupiansk in Kharkiv region. We bow low to the defender whose life was cut short so early. Despite his young age, the Hero dedicated his life to the struggle for Ukraine’s independence and gave it for the freedom of each of us.<\/p>\n
