This morning at 05:55, a fire was reported in Lviv on Storozhenka Street. The fire was in a three-storey abandoned building.<\/p>\n
The fire caused heavy smoke. When the fire and rescue units arrived, flames were visible from under the roof and smoke was coming out. The fire was spreading rapidly through the wooden structures of the building.<\/p>\n
The rescuers donned special respiratory and visual protection equipment and began to extinguish the fire. The fire was contained at 07:01 and extinguished at 07:17. The fire destroyed part of the roof and a wooden ceiling in the building.<\/p>\n
Thanks to the coordinated and professional actions of the rescuers, the fire was prevented from spreading and two residential buildings were saved.<\/p>\n
A total of 34 firefighters and 7 units of specialised equipment were engaged in the firefighting operations. No one was injured in the fire. Experts are establishing the circumstances and cause of the fire.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
