On the night before St. Nicholas Day, the main Christmas tree in Lviv community was lit up<\/h2>\n

The Hero of Ukraine, reconnaissance company commander Yurii Zhukovets joined the traditional pre-Christmas event for Lviv residents together with his family.<\/p>\n

“This tradition shows that nothing can break us,” the soldier said.<\/p>\n

“Christmas is also about where we get the strength to withstand all the suffering and pain we go through,” said Kateryna Kit-Sadova.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This year’s Christmas tree was presented to the city by the Pidvirnyi family from Birky. This is another tradition of Lviv. The festive tree will stand until the end of the Christmas holidays.<\/p>\n

There will be a Christmas shop, a Christmas tree display, and a procession of stargazers. There will also be a Christmas post office. And in a few weeks, it will be Christmas.<\/p>\n
