The city budget allocated 8.5 million UAH for these works, with 20% covered by building co-owners,\u201d the Lviv City Council\u2019s Department of Housing and Infrastructure stated.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Currently, 92% of the planned annual work has been completed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cost and Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nThe average cost of repairing one balcony ranges from 60,000 to 100,000 UAH. Officials emphasize that responsibility for balcony maintenance, as private property, lies with the residents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Balcony Inspections and Support Programs<\/strong><br \/>\nLast year, Lviv conducted an inspection of balconies in multi-apartment buildings, revealing 9,270 individual balconies and 4,201 shared-use balconies in unsatisfactory condition.<\/p>\n<p>Residents of non-architectural monuments can take advantage of a special support program, where the city covers <strong>80% of repair costs<\/strong>, leaving 20% for apartment owners.<\/p>\n<p>For buildings that are architectural monuments, a separate Co-Financing Program for Balcony Restoration is available.
