Lviv region honours the memory of five defenders of Ukraine who gave their lives in the fight against Russian aggression<\/h2>\n

Today, 22 December, the Lviv region is saying goodbye to five soldiers who died in the line of duty.<\/p>\n

Viacheslav Tsmukh<\/h3>\n

Viacheslav Tsmukh<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

He lived in the village of Sheptytske. He served in the military unit T0410 as an assistant to the head of the logistics service. He died on 18 December during a combat mission near the town of Huliaypole, Zaporizhzhia region.<\/p>\n

Oleksandr Voitenko<\/h3>\n

Oleksandr Voitenko<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A resident of Kyiv. In 2015-2016, he performed service missions in the ATO zone as part of a repair and restoration regiment. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he came to the defence of Ukraine in the ranks of the 26th separate rifle battalion of the 47th separate mechanised brigade “Magura”. The defender died on 20 November 2023 at the age of 52.<\/p>\n

Vasyl Yukhymenko<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Born in the village of Nahuyevychi. In April 2023, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as part of the rifle company of the 125th separate territorial defence brigade. He was killed on 14 December in the Sumy sector. The hero was 50 years old.<\/p>\n

Ivan Shelepylo<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Originally from the town of Rava-Ruska. He served in the military unit A0224. He died in action on 7 November 2023 near the village of Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region. He will forever be 43 years old.<\/p>\n

Mykhailo Shchur<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

A native of Mezhyrichchia village, Zhydachiv community. He held the position of a scout in the reconnaissance platoon of the military unit A4574. He was killed on 17 December during combat actions near Uspenivka, Donetsk region.<\/p>\n
