The highest incidence was recorded among the following age groups:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>5\u201314 years<\/strong> \u2014 79 cases;<\/li>\n<li><strong>30\u201364 years<\/strong> \u2014 107 cases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No cases of COVID-19 were reported during the same period.<\/p>\n<h3>Hospitalizations and Cardiovascular Diseases<\/h3>\n<p>A total of 581 patients were hospitalized in local medical facilities last week. There has been a notable rise in cardiovascular issues, with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>16 heart attacks<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>18 strokes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Medical professionals attribute this increase to the stress and anxiety caused by the ongoing war and concerns for relatives on the front lines.<\/p>\n<h3>Surgical Interventions<\/h3>\n<p>During the week, 83 surgeries were performed, 54 of which were urgent.<\/p>\n<h3>Births<\/h3>\n<p>On a positive note, seven babies were born at the maternity ward of Drohobych City Hospital No. 1, including four boys.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A slight increase in seasonal viral infections has been recorded in the Drohobych community, according to Volodymyr Chuba, head of the Health Department of Drohobych City Council, during an operational meeting on January 13.
