During the last week, medical workers in Drohobych provided necessary treatment for 598 individuals who required hospitalization. According to the information from Volodymyr Chuba, head of the health department, presented at the staff meeting in the city council, the community hospitals performed 102 surgical interventions, of which 35 were emergency cases.<\/p>\n
In addition, critical cases were recorded, including 15 heart attacks, of which 6 were treated with stenting, and 11 strokes, for one of which thrombolysis was performed. In the maternity ward of the City Hospital No. 1, 18 new residents were born last week: 10 boys and 8 girls.<\/p>\n
Volodymyr Chuba also noted that medical institutions regularly receive grateful feedback from patients, including from soldiers undergoing treatment. According to the report, from January 20 to 24, 25 expressions of gratitude were recorded in the complaint and suggestion books, indicating a high level of professionalism and care from the staff.<\/p>\n
In the face of constant challenges, the medical workers of the Drohobych community continue to faithfully serve the Hippocratic oath, restoring the health and saving the lives of their patients.<\/p>\n
