In Lviv, on Ryashivska Street, a traffic accident occurred, resulting in injuries to an elderly woman. The incident happened on January 28, at around 3:00 PM.<\/p>\n
According to preliminary data, a 60-year-old local driver, operating a Peugeot 5008, struck an 84-year-old pedestrian, a resident of Lviv.<\/p>\n
As a result of the collision, the victim sustained significant injuries and was immediately taken to the nearest hospital.<\/p>\n
Investigators from the Police Department No.1 of the Lviv District Police Management No.2 have initiated a criminal proceeding under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, concerning the violation of traffic safety rules. If the driver is found guilty, he could face imprisonment for up to three years and a prohibition on driving vehicles for a similar period.<\/p>\n
