A tragic car accident occurred on the evening of January 29th on Kovcha Street in Lviv, resulting in one person dead and another driver hospitalized. The Lviv police are investigating the circumstances of this incident.<\/p>\n
According to law enforcement, the collision occurred between a Honda Civic, driven by a 26-year-old Lviv resident, and a Renault Megane, driven by a 29-year-old citizen of the same city. As a result of the collision, the Honda driver received fatal injuries and died at the scene.<\/p>\n
The second participant in the accident was taken to the hospital with bodily injuries. Investigators from the department of crime investigation in the field of transport have already initiated criminal proceedings for the violation of traffic safety rules according to part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for three to eight years of imprisonment.<\/p>\n
