In the evening of January 31, a significant road traffic accident occurred in the village of Volytsya, Yavoriv district, Lviv region, where the driver of a Volkswagen Transporter minibus received serious injuries during a collision with a Scania truck.<\/p>\n
According to preliminary data from the police, the 47-year-old minibus driver, a resident of Mostyska, was involved in a collision with a truck driven by a 48-year-old resident of Zhytomyr region. As a result of the collision, the minibus driver was taken to the hospital with bodily injuries.<\/p>\n
Currently, criminal proceedings have been initiated by the investigative unit of the Yavoriv District Police Department No. 1 under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for violating road safety rules. The sanctions under the article may include restriction of liberty for up to three years, as well as loss of the right to drive vehicles for a similar term.<\/p>\n
During further investigation, law enforcement officers will clarify all the circumstances of the incident.<\/p>\n
