He took part in combat operations in the ATO\/JFO area. From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he defended Ukraine as a member of the 116th separate mechanised brigade. He died on 30 January during treatment at the Dnipro Military Medical Clinical Centre. He was killed on 27 January. He performed combat missions in the Donetsk sector. He was awarded the insignia of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Minister of Defence of Ukraine. He died on 31 January.
