On February 9th this year in Lviv, on Hlyboka Street, an accident occurred that led to carbon monoxide poisoning. The incident took place in an apartment of a multi-story building where a woman, born in 1957, was poisoned by carbon monoxide. She was urgently hospitalized in moderately severe condition.<\/p>\n
According to a report from the city’s emergency management office, from the moment the accident was detected, the gas supply to the apartment was immediately stopped by the emergency service ‘104’. This is already the ninth recorded case of carbon monoxide poisoning in the Lviv community since the beginning of 2025. A total of 22 people have been affected, including 9 children, and unfortunately, two people have died.<\/p>\n
Experts remind everyone of the main symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning: intense headache, weakness, drowsiness, dizziness, vomiting. In case these symptoms occur, it is critical to immediately call for emergency assistance, turn off appliances, and leave the premises. It is important to follow safety precautions, as even the slightest violation can lead to tragedy.<\/p>\n
