Last weekend, the 50th anniversary tournament of the Typhoon Cup was held at the Drohobych Vocational College of Oil and Gas, organized by FSC \u201cTyphoon\u201d. The honorable opening of the event was accompanied by the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine and a moment of silence for the fallen heroes. The sports event was officially opened by Oksana Sotrykhina, Yuriy Khomosh, and Vitaliy Shkraba, who also headed the judging of the competitions.<\/p>\n
The kickboxing competition attracted 120 participants from 18 sports clubs in the region. Athletes competed in three categories: kick-light, point, and light-contact, representing not only Drohobych but also Boryslav and Vilnogirsk. Thanks to the skill of the athletes from FC \u201cFighter\u201d, the dynamics of the fights impressed everyone present.<\/p>\n
As a result of the competitions, winners were awarded in the individual fighting categories. The prize winners received certificates, and some also received trophies for their achievements. The closing show was provided by a Wushu team from Lviv led by Oksana Sotrykhina, which became a highlight of the sports festival.<\/p>\n
