The Zhovkva District Prosecutor’s Office identified violations in the contracting agreement which stipulated the allocation of almost 24 million hryvnias from the budget. In July 2023, the village council in Lviv region planned to conduct major road repairs in the village of Vysloboky, however, the funds for this were not provided in the budget, which contradicts the legislation.<\/p>\n
Consent with the violated agreement led to the prosecution initiating a legal process to declare the agreement invalid. The parties decided to terminate the contract before the official court verdict, which prevented the misuse of budget funds.<\/p>\n
