The leading dynamics of the personal income tax payments by the entrepreneurship sector of Lviv region compared to the budget sector, which continued consistently last year, also proceeded in January this year. This was stated by the director of the Department of Finance of the Regional State Administration, Oleg Demkiv.<\/p>\n
In the first month of the year, businesses increased the amount of tax paid compared to the corresponding period in 2024 by 32%, while the budget sector increased by 15%.<\/p>\n
It is worth mentioning that overall, the regional revenues increased by 28%.<\/p>\n
In absolute terms, the entrepreneurship sector contributed 1.219 billion UAH to the regional budget in taxes, while the budgetary sector contributors paid 323 million UAH. The business sector’s share in the total personal income tax revenue in January 2025 was 79% (compared to 74% at the end of 2024).<\/p>\n
Of course, the first month of the year cannot be considered indicative, so we look forward to further trends.<\/p>\n
