The Defender will be met at 15.00 at the Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul in Sokal. Then the funeral cortege will go to the village of Zhvyrky, where at 19.00 in the Church of the Holy Spirit there will be a parastasis.<\/p>\n
The funeral of the Hero Volodymyr Chaplyk will take place on Thursday, 27 February, at 12.00.<\/p>\n
The defender will be laid to rest at the local cemetery.<\/p>\n
On 23 February, 2025, near the village of Oleshnya, Suzhansky district, Kursk region, the Hero Chaplyk Volodymyr Volodymyrovych, born on 19.06.1975, a resident of the village Zhvyrka, died while performing combat missions related to the defence of the Motherland.<\/p>\n
He served as the commander of the communication unit of the communication platoon of the 3rd mechanised battalion of the military unit A 4699.<\/p>\n
The Hero Volodymyr Chaplyk is survived by his wife Nadiia, son Vasyl and mother Mykhailyna Onufriivna. We sincerely condole with the entire family on their irreparable grief.<\/p>\n
