In Lviv, this process began at the start of the year, and they plan to evacuate 14 more cars by the end of March. Currently, the commission is reviewing over 100 similar cases.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The freed space is used for new parking spots or playgrounds.<\/li>\n<li>Fewer abandoned cars mean less garbage and fewer dangerous situations.<\/li>\n<li>Decreased environmental pollution from rusty vehicles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In Lviv, district administrations account for such cars: if the owner does not respond within a month after receiving the notice, the vehicle is moved to an impound lot. Owners have six months to reclaim the vehicle after paying fees.
