He was attentive, fair, cheerful, and hardworking. He wanted to achieve a lot in life, wished a happy future for the children, wanted to educate them… planned a lot, but unfortunately, did not manage, \u2013 said his wife Lyubov about the fallen soldier from Lviv region, Oleh Ahafonov.<\/p>\n
The warrior was born in the village of Svytnyk, Lviv Oblast. He lived in Cherkasy region \u2013 in the village of Vasylkiv. The man joined the ranks of defenders on March 1, 2022. He served in the 118th separate brigade of territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a rifleman in the rifle company of the 59th battalion.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, the defender died on July 3, 2023, during a combat mission near the village of Klishchiyivka in the Bakhmut direction of Donetsk region. He was 38 years old. Posthumously, he was awarded the Order of Courage, III degree. The Lviv Regional Military Administration together with the Memorial of Heroes Memory Platform honors the memory of fallen defenders originating from the Lviv region.
