On February 6 at 04:37 a.m., the Rescue Service ‘101’ received a report about a fire in the village of Ivano-Frankove on B. Khmelnytsky Street, Yavoriv District. The fire occurred in a one-story brick residential building with an attic, covered with slate, measuring 10\u00d713 m.<\/p>\n
Rescuers from the village of Ivano-Frankove and the city of Novoyavorivsk were dispatched to the scene. Upon the firefighters’ arrival at the call site, thick black smoke was pouring from the house’s roof. Due to heavy smoke, the emergency responders had to work in special breathing and vision protection equipment.<\/p>\n
At 05:08, the firefighters localized the fire, and by 05:16, they extinguished it. The rescuers managed to prevent the rapid spread of the fire and saved three buildings from being engulfed by it. Nine rescuers and two units of specialized equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The causes and circumstances of the fire are under investigation.<\/p>\n
