In January-February 2025, 1444 road traffic accidents were registered on the roads of Lviv and the region. Of these, 303 involved injuries, with 42 people dead and 373 injured.<\/p>\n
The main causes of accidents with injuries during this period were speeding, violations of pedestrian crossing rules, and intersection rules.<\/p>\n
Lviv police once again urge all road users to strictly adhere to safety rules. Pedestrians, be extremely attentive, cross the road only at pedestrian crossings and on a green light, and use reflective elements during the dark hours! Drivers, adhere to the speed limit, avoid dangerous maneuvers, and be particularly careful near intersections and pedestrian crossings.<\/p>\n
