In Lviv, on March 9, the 211th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko was celebrated. First Deputy Mayor Andriy Moskalenko represented the city community at the event. Participants laid flowers at the monument to Kobzar on Svobody Avenue. The choral chapel ‘Dudaryk,’ together with ensembles from the Lviv Music Professional College named after S. P. Ludkevych and the Lviv Professional College of Culture and Arts, performed thematic pieces. Representatives of the city and regional authorities, military personnel, activists of public organizations, cultural figures, and residents of Lviv joined the ceremony.<\/p>\n
