Since the beginning of 2025, 55 road traffic accidents involving children have been registered on the roads of Lviv and the region, 46 of which involved injuries. Unfortunately, as a result of these accidents, one child died, and another 46 children were injured.<\/p>\n
The police urge parents: remind children of road safety rules. In particular, cross the road only at pedestrian crossings, ensuring there are no cars, and bicycles should be ridden only on bike paths.<\/p>\n
Additionally, make sure that the child’s clothing and bicycle have reflective elements \u2013 this will make them more visible to drivers in the dark.<\/p>\n
And to drivers, the police remind: be especially careful when approaching educational institutions, pedestrian crossings, and intersections, and also adhere to the rules for transporting children.<\/p>\n
