On March 25, the executive committee of the city council decided to expand the territory for honorary burials at the cemetery in the village of Bendiu.<\/p>\n
According to this decision, sector No. 31 will be allocated for honorary burials \u2014 it is a plot located in the same direction as the Alley of Heroes, but a little further, towards the forest.<\/p>\n
The city mayor Andriy Zalivskyi noted that the uncertainty of wartime requires early preparation and last week alone there were five burials of defenders, so it’s better to reserve a place in advance and hope it won’t be needed, rather than be unprepared later.<\/p>\n
It is worth noting that the burial of fallen defenders of Ukraine in the Russian-Ukrainian war continues to be carried out by the Municipal Enterprise ‘Kommunalnyk’ at the Alley of Heroes in Bendiu Cemetery.<\/p>\n
