The Western Commercial Court of Appeal upheld the first instance decision on a lawsuit filed by the Halytskyi District Prosecutor’s Office of Lviv. The court declared the additional agreements null and void and ordered the company to refund over 1 million UAH of improperly paid funds to the city budget.<\/p>\n
It was established that a hospital and a local business entity had entered into additional agreements for the supply of natural gas in violation of the law. In particular, the price of the product was increased without proper documentary justification. As a result, the hospital had unjustifiably spent budget funds. The prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit to nullify these agreements, and the court supported their position.<\/p>\n
