Following the start of Russia\u2019s full-scale invasion in 2022, Taras volunteered to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 44th Separate Rifle Battalion, which is part of the 115th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He fought the enemy bravely until his final breath.<\/p>\n
Sadly, Taras died on April 4. Just three days later, on April 7, he would have turned 46.<\/p>\n
Every day at 9:00 a.m., Ukraine observes a nationwide moment of silence in memory of the fallen. Wherever you are, take a pause to honor those who died defending our homeland.<\/p>\n
