Good Friday in the Velykomostivska community became a day of great mourning and profound sorrow. Today, our community gathered in large numbers to meet their Hero \u2014 Andriy Chobit, a resident of the village of Butyny, who had been missing for a long time. We believed, waited, prayed… But fate decided otherwise \u2014 Andriy returned home on his shield.<\/p>\n
He was only 31 years old. Ahead was a life full of dreams, love, family, children… But he gave the most precious thing \u2014 his life \u2014 for our peace, for our future. He did not have time… to marry, to give his parents grandchildren, to enjoy the simple joys of life. Yet he will forever remain in our memory \u2014 young, smiling, courageous.<\/p>\n
In deep mourning remain his parents, brother and sisters, relatives and friends, comrades, and along with them \u2014 the entire Velykomostivska community, which today bowed their heads in honor of the bright memory of the Hero.<\/p>\n
Andriy was buried with full military honors and according to the Christian rite in his native village of Butyny. Over his grave flies the Ukrainian flag \u2014 a symbol of our struggle and gratitude. Rest in peace, Hero. We believe that your sacrifice was not in vain. Eternal memory and glory to the Defender of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
