Starting Monday, April 28, annual hydraulic tests of the heating networks will begin in Lviv. Initial inspections will focus on the main pipelines connected to TPP-1 and TC “Pivnichna,” the city’s largest sources of heat. Subsequent tests will involve smaller networks from local boiler houses, with individual testing schedules possibly extending up to two weeks.<\/p>\n
According to Oleksandr Odynets, director of Lvivteploenergo, hydraulic tests are crucial for identifying and repairing worn-out sections of pipelines ahead of the heating season, preventing major breakdowns and enabling flexible heat supply based on weather changes.<\/p>\n
Testing Schedule:<\/strong><\/p>\n April 28 to May 5 \u2013 testing of main pipelines from TPP-1 and TC “Pivnichna”<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Until June 2 \u2013 repair of detected damages<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Temporary suspension of hot water supply in Sykhivskyi, Frankivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and parts of Lychakivskyi districts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Affected Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n Sykhiv residential area (Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue, Morozna, Sykhivska, Zubrivska, Monastyrskoho Streets, etc.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Stryiska, Naukov\u0430, and Volodymyr Velykyi Streets and surrounding areas<\/p>\n<\/li>\n “Novyi Lviv” microdistrict (Chmoly, Ternopilska, Myshuhy Streets, etc.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Part of Lychakivskyi district (Zelena, Pasichna, Kytayska Streets, and others)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Shevchenkivskyi district (Hrinchenka, Mazepy, Mykolaychuka, Lypynskoho, Chornovola Streets, and others)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Hot water supply is expected to resume from June 3, although repairs might be completed earlier where possible.
