In Lviv, the police together with the SBU detained teenagers who set fire to Ukrzaliznytsia facilities on the orders of Russian special services.<\/p>\n
Two students from one of Lviv’s vocational schools \u2013 a 17-year-old resident of the Ternopil region and an 18-year-old resident of Zaporizhzhia, were recruited by enemy special services and carried out their ‘tasks’, including destroying railway relay cabinets.<\/p>\n
The criminals were uncovered by criminal investigation operatives and employees of the Criminal Analysis Department of the Lviv Police, along with officers of the Criminal Police Department No. 1 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1, operatives and investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region, under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n
The teenagers were detained in Lviv while setting fire to a Ukrzaliznytsia relay cabinet. It was established that the subjects were following orders and reporting to their curator \u2013 a representative of the Russian special services, receiving money for their actions. They filmed the arson of relay cabinets on video. They came into the sight of enemy operatives while searching for easy earnings on one of the social networks.<\/p>\n
The detainees were informed of suspicion in committing a crime, provided for in part 2 of article 113 (Sabotage, committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment \u2013 imprisonment for fifteen years or life imprisonment, with confiscation of property.<\/p>\n
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, by court decision the suspects are held in custody.<\/p>\n
