As preliminarily established by law enforcement, the driver of a Volkswagen Passat, a 56-year-old Lviv resident, collided with an e-bike driven by a 36-year-old resident of Lviv.<\/p>\n
As a result of the accident, the e-bike driver sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n
Investigators from Lviv District Police Department No. 2 have opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of Road Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the article\u2019s sanction is up to three years of restricted freedom, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.<\/p>\n
