With heavy hearts, we report the tragic death of our fellow citizen, Junior Sergeant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhii Oleksiiovych Kashchak, a resident of Novyi Rozdil, who passed away on May 20, 2025.<\/p>\n
Born in 1974, Serhii Kashchak was mobilized into military service in March 2022. Since then, he honorably served as the commander of a mechanized squad within the platoon and company structure of mechanized battalion A5001.<\/p>\n
His life was cut short in the settlement of Mezhova, Synelnykove district, Dnipropetrovsk region, while carrying out his military duties.<\/p>\n
The Novyi Rozdil City Council extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends, and comrades of the fallen defender. May the bright memory of Serhii remain eternal.<\/p>\n
Details about the farewell ceremony and burial will be announced later.<\/p>\n
