There, Dr. Volodymyr Romanyshyn and his surgical team undertook the complex microsurgical procedure to reconstruct his radial nerve.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3601\" data-end=\"3628\">&#x1f539; <strong data-start=\"3604\" data-end=\"3626\">Operation details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3629\" data-end=\"3907\">\n<li data-start=\"3629\" data-end=\"3687\">\n<p data-start=\"3631\" data-end=\"3687\">The fragment had completely destroyed the radial nerve<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3688\" data-end=\"3740\">\n<p data-start=\"3690\" data-end=\"3740\">Surgeons transplanted a sural nerve from his leg<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3741\" data-end=\"3814\">\n<p data-start=\"3743\" data-end=\"3814\">The nerve was sutured with ultra-fine threads thinner than human hair<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3815\" data-end=\"3907\">\n<p data-start=\"3817\" data-end=\"3907\">A few days post-op, Anatolii began to feel tingling in his hand \u2014 an early sign of success<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3909\" data-end=\"4076\">&#x1f539; <strong data-start=\"3912\" data-end=\"3937\">Rehabilitation ahead:<\/strong><br data-start=\"3937\" data-end=\"3940\" \/>Recovery from radial nerve reconstruction is lengthy.
