The resolution will come into legal effect once it is published in the \u201cOfficial Bulletin of Ukraine.\u201d<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2375\" data-end=\"2779\">This development is highly significant for the local community, as the name change to \u201cRudne\u201d occurred between 2008 and 2009 without public consultation, proper documentation, or any notification to residents. According to Nataliya Ustymenko, head of the Lviv community office in RudnO, this caused confusion and problems with legal documents, and was viewed as a sign of disrespect toward the community.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2781\" data-end=\"2791\">Key facts:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2793\" data-end=\"3246\">\n<li data-start=\"2793\" data-end=\"2879\">\n<p data-start=\"2795\" data-end=\"2879\"><strong data-start=\"2795\" data-end=\"2828\">Name was changed unilaterally<\/strong>: without informing the public or holding hearings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2880\" data-end=\"2972\">\n<p data-start=\"2882\" data-end=\"2972\"><strong data-start=\"2882\" data-end=\"2914\">No official document existed<\/strong>: the change happened silently through electronic systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2973\" data-end=\"3058\">\n<p data-start=\"2975\" data-end=\"3058\"><strong data-start=\"2975\" data-end=\"3016\">State archives confirm the name RudnO<\/strong>: archival records back the original name.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3059\" data-end=\"3148\">\n<p data-start=\"3061\" data-end=\"3148\"><strong data-start=\"3061\" data-end=\"3091\">The reversal began in 2019<\/strong>: public discussions were organized by the local council.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3149\" data-end=\"3246\">\n<p data-start=\"3151\" data-end=\"3246\"><strong data-start=\"3151\" data-end=\"3189\">Residents won\u2019t need new documents<\/strong>: except in specific cases like real estate transactions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3248\" data-end=\"3449\">Ustymenko explained that if the previous name \u201cRudne\u201d appears in property documents, owners may need to obtain a certificate or a copy of the renaming resolution when engaging in official transactions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3451\" data-end=\"3615\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">This name restoration is a result of years of consistent efforts by the residents.
