As established by law enforcement officers, the accused, a 53-year-old resident of the Zolochiv district, committed significant violations during the evaluation of an excavator-loader. This excavator was purchased for the municipal enterprise by the Zolochiv City Council at an inflated price.<\/p>\n
During the evaluation, the accused, who has the appropriate qualifications, knowingly abused her authority. She assessed the excavator at a price exceeding its actual value by more than 688,000 hryvnias. **Thus, the local budget was damaged by the specified amount.**<\/p>\n
The criminal was uncovered by officers of the criminal police and investigators of the Zolochiv district police department. The pre-trial investigation has been completed, and the indictment has been sent to court.<\/p>\n
For her actions, the accused faces a penalty of imprisonment for a term of five to eight years, with disqualification from holding certain positions or engaging in certain activities for up to three years, with or without confiscation of property.<\/p>\n
