A collection of antique coins was discovered at the Ukrainian-Polish border.<\/p>\n
At the ‘Krakivets-Korchova’ checkpoint, during the inspection of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus heading from Ukraine to Poland, customs officials found a collection of antique coins. The oldest of them is dated 1739. 62 copper coins<\/strong> from the times of the Russian Empire (early 18th – 19th – 20th century) were among the driver’s belongings.<\/p>\n An administrative protocol has been drawn up against the offender \u2013 a 28-year-old resident of Prykarpattia, in accordance with part 3 of Article 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. The findings, which may have cultural or historical value, have been sent for examination.
