{"id":200629,"date":"2025-06-22T16:25:23","date_gmt":"2025-06-22T13:25:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/golossokal.com.ua\/?p=200629"},"modified":"2025-06-22T13:27:04","modified_gmt":"2025-06-22T10:27:04","slug":"16-richnyy-donor-iz-lvivshchyny-vriatuvav-zhyttia-trom-patsiientam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/golossokal.com.ua\/en\/zdorovia\/16-richnyy-donor-iz-lvivshchyny-vriatuvav-zhyttia-trom-patsiientam.html","title":{"rendered":"16-year-old organ donor from Lviv region saves three lives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1611\" data-end=\"1945\">The Ministry of Health of Ukraine announces the successful completion of three transplants at the Transplantology Center of the First Medical Association of Lviv.<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1611\" data-end=\"1945\">Thanks to the consent of the family of the deceased 16-year-old young man, doctors were able to transplant donor organs and save the lives of three Ukrainians.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1947\" data-end=\"1976\">Details about each recipient:<\/p>\n<ol data-start=\"1978\" data-end=\"2682\">\n<li data-start=\"1978\" data-end=\"2286\">\n<p data-start=\"1981\" data-end=\"2022\"><strong data-start=\"1981\" data-end=\"2020\">15-year-old Diana (Ivano-Frankivsk)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2026\" data-end=\"2286\">\n<li data-start=\"2026\" data-end=\"2081\">\n<p data-start=\"2028\" data-end=\"2081\">Suffered from chronic kidney disease since age six.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2085\" data-end=\"2139\">\n<p data-start=\"2087\" data-end=\"2139\">Underwent hemodialysis in Lviv three times weekly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2143\" data-end=\"2205\">\n<p data-start=\"2145\" data-end=\"2205\">Her previous kidney failed due to an autoimmune condition.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2209\" data-end=\"2286\">\n<p data-start=\"2211\" data-end=\"2286\">Her new kidney works well, and she can now drink a normal amount of fluids.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2288\" data-end=\"2535\">\n<p data-start=\"2291\" data-end=\"2323\"><strong data-start=\"2291\" data-end=\"2321\">4-year-old Tikhon (Dnipro)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2327\" data-end=\"2535\">\n<li data-start=\"2327\" data-end=\"2384\">\n<p data-start=\"2329\" data-end=\"2384\">Has been on peritoneal dialysis for over three years.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2388\" data-end=\"2459\">\n<p data-start=\"2390\" data-end=\"2459\">Dreamed of living freely without a catheter and swimming in a pool.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2463\" data-end=\"2535\">\n<p data-start=\"2465\" data-end=\"2535\">With the kidney transplant, he can now enjoy childhood to its fullest.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2537\" data-end=\"2682\">\n<p data-start=\"2540\" data-end=\"2592\"><strong data-start=\"2540\" data-end=\"2590\">31-year-old woman (autoimmune liver condition)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2596\" data-end=\"2682\">\n<li data-start=\"2596\" data-end=\"2623\">\n<p data-start=\"2598\" data-end=\"2623\">Received a donor liver.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2627\" data-end=\"2682\">\n<p data-start=\"2629\" data-end=\"2682\">She is recovering well and undergoing rehabilitation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-start=\"2684\" data-end=\"2949\">The 16-year-old teen was involved in a car accident last week. Despite doctors\u2019 efforts, brain death was confirmed on the third day.
