The largest road accident in the last decade in the Lviv region has ended with sentences for the perpetrators.<\/strong><\/p>\n Following a public prosecution by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, two residents of the Lviv district have been sentenced in criminal proceedings related to a traffic accident resulting in the death of 8 people.<\/p>\n The driver has been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment with a 10-year driving ban, while the passenger has been sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment with a probation period of 3 years.<\/p>\n The driver was charged with leaving someone in danger and violating traffic safety rules while being under the influence of alcohol.
