In Lviv, a scooter driver was injured as a result of a car collision.<\/p>\n
The traffic accident occurred on June 30, around 19:10, on Kniahyni Olhy Street in Lviv. According to preliminary police reports, the driver of a Skoda Octavia, a 23-year-old Lviv resident, collided with a scooter driven by a 35-year-old resident from one of the villages in the Lviv district. As a result of the accident, the scooter driver sustained injuries and was hospitalized.<\/p>\n
The investigators of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 286 ‘Violation of Traffic Safety Rules’ of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the article is up to three years of imprisonment, with the possibility of being deprived of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years. Law enforcement officers are investigating the circumstances of the incident.<\/p>\n
