With the arrival of the summer season, traffic at the Ukrainian-Polish border has significantly increased.<\/p>\n
At the crossing points in the Lviv region, there has been a 25% increase in passenger traffic compared to average annual figures, with up to a 16% rise on weekends. The busiest crossing points<\/strong> at the moment are: Krakivets – 45 vehicles, Shehyni – 20 vehicles (reconstruction is ongoing, complicating traffic flow), Ugryniv – 15 vehicles, Hrushev – 10 vehicles.<\/p>\n Alternative without traffic jams:<\/em> \u201cNyzankovychi\u201d and \u201cSmilnytsia\u201d. These crossing points are currently operating smoothly and may be more convenient for crossing.<\/p>\n Attention!<\/strong> Repair work is ongoing: At the Shehyni crossing point, the old road surface is being dismantled and new communications are being laid. Repair work is also ongoing on the Polish side in \u201cMedika\u201d. This is additionally affecting traffic speed.<\/p>\n Forecast:<\/em> up to +40% passengers in peak season. Further increase in load is expected on all routes of the Lviv region.
