With the start of the summer season, a significant increase in passenger traffic is being recorded at the border checkpoints of the Lviv region. In the first week of July, nearly 364,000 individuals and about 64,000 vehicles crossed the state border. The number of people leaving Ukraine exceeded the number of entries by 1,900.<\/p>\n
The most congested checkpoints are: \u201cShehyni\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cKrakovets\u201d<\/strong> – experiencing maximum load; \u201cUhryniv\u201d<\/strong>, \u201cHrushiv\u201d<\/strong>, and \u201cRava-Ruska\u201d<\/strong> – maintaining a stable average intensity; \u201cNyzhankovychi\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cSmilnytsia\u201d<\/strong> – the least congestion. On weekends, there is an increase in passenger traffic by up to 16% compared to weekdays.<\/p>\n It is worth noting that extensive repair work is ongoing at the \u201cShehyni\u201d<\/em> checkpoint: old pavement is being dismantled, engineering systems are being modernized, and new communications are being laid.
