During a sanctioned search of his residence, law enforcement officers discovered psychotropic substances and ammunition for combat firearms. The maximum penalty<\/strong> he faces is up to ten years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.<\/p>\n As established by the criminal police operatives and investigators of the Sambir District Police Department, under the procedural guidance of the Sambir District Prosecutor’s Office, a 32-year-old resident of one of the cities in the Sambir region purchased the psychotropic substance PVP and distributed it to drug-dependent “clients” through hand-to-hand transactions in the entrance of his building.<\/p>\n Police documented several facts of the perpetrator’s illegal activities and during a sanctioned search at his residence, they found and seized a substance resembling the psychotropic drug PVP, other physical evidence of criminal involvement, as well as ammunition for rifled firearms.<\/p>\n The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings, opened under part 2 of article 307 (“Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, transfer, or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and part 1 of article 263 (“Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition, or explosives”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, is completed.
