The city of Truskavets faces challenges in the water supply sector due to outdated networks.<\/p>\n
Thanks to funding from Swedfund and under the leadership of the Truskavets City Council, the Egis team in Ukraine developed a feasibility study for modernizing the water supply system. \u201cDuring the process, we conducted a technical assessment of the system’s condition, financial and economic analysis, social and economic indicators analysis, environmental and social impact assessment, development roadmap formation,\u201d<\/em> noted Egis.<\/p>\n Several modernization options were proposed, including the construction of a new water treatment plant and transitioning to the use of a reservoir. The project received high praise from the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine. It will form the basis for a pilot public-private partnership project in the water supply sector.<\/p>\n On July 11, 2025, the project will be presented at the International Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome. This will be an important step towards attracting international donors and investors.
